I first began wearing Opium in 1982! It was my first perfume given to me by my older brother from his first job at an airport gift store in Puerto Rico. I loved it then and will not wear no other perfume! You must try it to believe that you will fall in love with the smell.

One of the best fragrances there is! I first began using this perfume about 20 years ago, as a young professional. I have never stopped loving how this fragrance smells so sensual and deep. It lasts from shower to shower. No need to reapply during the day. Most call this an evening fragrance but I wear it always. It’s also so unusual that I get complimented on its wonderful fragrance all the time. The woman in the cubicle next to you wont be wearing this wonderful fragrance!

I traditionally buy this fragrance for my wife, for Christmas and other occasions. As far as I know, she has been wearing it, forever. She certainly has been wearing it as long as I have known her, much to my delight. It is a light fragrance, evocative of delicate flowers and spices. It never oppresses and is always attractive.

I am a long time Opium wearer and prefer to get the Eau de Parfum because it has a higher perfume content. If you are careful, the 1.7 oz spray can last you up to a year. Opium is deep and spicy fragrance, not for the people who like the light florals. Opium is for nights when you want to rumba! Opium goes better with higher acidic PH skin. Its fun to learn from a perfumer what is best for you. Everyone is different. I also like Opium scented powder and the bath oil as they both extend your use of the scent. Enjoy!

My wife loves this stuff, and I have to admit it still makes me go woof-woof. I always get her a new one when I see she is running out. So impressed was I, that I purchased Opium for Men (which is also great). Now we are both on opiates (or are opiates on us?). And the price is right. If you can, get a tester. It’s the same stuff, but no fancy box and is therefore less expensive.

I was first introduced to this fragrance as a teenager, when my older and more sophisticated sister would wear it in the 80s. I remember sneaking in her room, spraying it on, and feeling so grown up and pretty! I have always loved the spicy scent and have never really found another fragrance that comes close to it, except with maybe Gucci by Gucci. Its a true classic that has never gone out of style. There must be something alot of people love about it, because it’s been around for years! I still wear it when I want to feel sexy and pretty and bring back lots of memories of being a teen!

I’m addicted to scent, and I’m not particularly loyal to any one fragrance, but this one does come pretty close. I buy a nice sized bottle every year.
It’s a very sophisticated, very grown up and sensual floral scent and I know a lot of people who don’t like the smell of it in the bottle, but if you spray it on and give it a chance, you may find it to be your favorite. It’s very lush and feminine in a non-girly way. It’s all woman.
If you’re ready for a grown up scent, give it a try. The classics become that way for a reason.
