The perfume is very subtle with a little hint of sweetness. It’s not overpowering or musky. Don’t try to sniff the bottle or a sample…it won’t do it justice. You have to try it on your skin to know how great it smells. I’ve had other designer frangrances, but this is by far my favorite and I’ve received a lot of compliments.

I first got a whiff of this from a magazine enclosure. It got me curious, as they rarely do. Passing Sephora, I went in for a test…and felt seduced by the classy charm of the scent. It seemed to have a rich sophistication which goes with horseback riding or polo. After a few days, I still couldn’t get the scent out of my head so I went back to grab it up. I’ve only had this experience with a few other fragrences…but they were of a totally different style…Angel by Thierry Mugler and Flower by Kenzo.

Smells DIVINE! This is a powder-sweet and refreshing scent that won’t overwhelm the senses. It’s soft and subtle, yet killer if it complements your body chemistry. I love using this particular fragrance (especially during special occasions). It exudes both simplicity and sophistication–wonderful qualities that make me feel so feminine and utterly sexy!!! Try it.

My Mother of all people introduced me to this scent when I was about 24 years old, so going on 7 years now. It is versatile as it can be worn from daytime into the night. The lasting power could be a little better, but it lingers on. Prior to being introduced to Burberry, my favorite sexy night scent was the classic Opium. My fiance of 7 years does not like scents that are too musky, so he doesn’t care for my Opium. HOWEVER, HE LOVES BURBERRY OF LONDON. I’m not good at figuring out tones, but it does have a musk tone to it but it is very soft but yet sexy as well. The musk tone is not the overpowering tone in this scent, otherwise fiance would not love it as much as he does. It is also a sophisicated and professional scent, BUT AGAIN, SOFT AND SEXY AND VERY VERSATILE.

After ordering, product arrived at my door within a week (half the estimated time) in great condition. Perfume smelled exactly how it was supposed to- proper scent percentage that you can rarely find when buying online- and was in original Burberry box/wrappings. I would definitely order here again in a heartbeat.

I LOVE THIS PERFUME! I HAVE BEEN WEARING IT FOR EIGHT YEARS AND IT NEVER GETS OLD. IT IS PERFECT FOR DAY OR EVENING IT IS MY SIGNITURE SCENT, IT GOES ON A BIT STRONG, BUT NOT TOO HEAVY, AND FADES INTO A LOVELY WARM SLIGHTLY SWEET FRAGRANCE.

I love this perfume.
From the moment I first tried it, I was hooked on this lovely fragrance.
It’s suitable for any occasion, and has become my “signature scent”.
Many perfumes give me a headache very soon after I spray apply them, (especially the Calvin Klein line). Burberry Classic doesn’t do that to me and I can wear it every day. It is quite lasting, and I can smell it on myself for a long time, yet I never feel it’s overpowering.

This scent is so delicious and intoxicating. I really dislike strong flowery perfumes, so stayed away from perfumes all together. Burberry was a gift to me a couple of years ago and it’s all I use now and get compliments everyday.

This cologne will have STRANGERS stop you to ask what you are wearing! It is long lasting, light, and clean smelling. This is the fragrance to wear any time of day or night. I was introduced to this by one of my patients about 4 years ago. I priced it at Belks and the leading department stores and it was PRICEY!! So, I went online and found testers were available and now that is all I buy. You get the same cologne without a top sometimes for ALOT less money. Need a change in your life? Try Burberry. You won’t regret and will toss all those left over colognes away.

I like Chanel #5, but let’s face it, most of us can’t afford Chanel. My second favorite is Pavlova–I can’t afford that either.
While a personal fragrance is a very, very personal thing, I’m hardly qualified to recommend this or that.
But for me, this is my everyday fragrance. It wears really well, it doesn’t over-power (it’s not obnoxious).
It’s hard to articulate what/how a fragrance is. So I’ll say this: Two kinds of fragrance: Floral or Spicey. If you like Gardenia or Rose fragrances, this is not for you. If you like spicey, earthy tones, this is perfect.
